Early Compliance Benefit
-
Buildings are encouraged to submit their Energy Audit in 2013 even if the deadline is later.
-
Buildings that comply early will not have to submit a second report until 10 years after their original assigned due date, e.g. if a building with a tax block ending in 9 chooses to submit early, they need not submit again until 2029.
-
Recently-completed energy audits and retrocommissioning can qualify for early compliance provided they meet certain requirements.
