Benchmarking

Our engineers can guide you through the ENERGY STAR compliance process, and assist with participation in New York state and local programs. PowerCon’s benchmarking services will measure your building’s performance as compared to other buildings of a similar type – this can include energy consumption, water use, and carbon emissions. This crucial first step will inform your decision making when considering energy efficiency upgrades to your building, and help identify ways to save on utility costs.

New York City Local Law 84

All buildings over 50,000 square feet in New York City must benchmark their energy usage using the US EPA’s Portfolio Manager tool by May 1, 2011, and every year thereafter. Learn more about Local Law 84.

PowerCon can help you comply with the law now and in the future.
